The Tallawarra Site

TRUenergy is exploring options to develop the lands surrounding the Tallawarra power station.

Careful, considered development of Tallawarra Lands will significantly benefit the local community and improve the amenity of the area.

Planning for the development of the site is in its early stages.  While it is too early to tell exactly what will be included on the site, preliminary rezoning outcomes indicate a balanced mix of land uses, including employment and economic opportunities, new residential housing and over 200 hectares of protected environmental reserves.  For more information on our development proposal click here.

Consultation with the community is a key part of our planning process.  Since 2003, when we purchased the site, we have been working closely with the local community, including local councils and government agencies, to gather feedback on an appropriate, sustainable plan for Tallawarra Lands.
