Our commitment to the consistent review and examination of our health and safety systems, policies and training programs is demonstrated by an impressive safety record. With a total injury frequency rate that is lower than industry standard, in 2011 we further reduced our total injury frequency rate (TIFR) target by 20%, trending towards our goal of 0 injuries.

Wellbeing (TRUenergy Wellness Program)

The Healthy, Wealthy, Fit and Wise Wellness Program for TRUenergy employees gives you access to a range of tools to help you maintain and improve your personal wellbeing.

Throughout the year we offer events that focus on different aspects of your wellbeing, including stress management, massage, nutrition, debt management, skin checks and much more. In addition to these events, we offer the Fitness2live online system. Fitness2live’s interactive online service provides you with access to a range of current and personalised diet, exercise and lifestyle tools to help you improve your health and wellbeing and track your progress.

Parenting

The TRUenergy Future Stars program provides a positive, smart solution to managing the demands of work and family commitments. Support services offered to families and carers include access to qualified nannies and babysitters, information on eligible government family allowances, parenting articles, competition prizes and fun family activities.
