Connecting your house
To have your electricity and gas connected at your new house, please call us on 133 466 or complete an online quote. It’s that easy!
Disconnecting your house
To arrange a disconnection at your existing house, you'll need to contact your existing energy retailer to organise for a final bill to be sent to you. If you’re an existing TRUenergy customer, please call us on 133 466 to arrange your transfer of address.
What you need when connecting
- When connecting with TRUenergy, whether by phone or online, please have the following details handy: the address details of your new house; the date you require the energy connected; and your personal details including contact numbers and one form of ID (passport number, driver's licence number or Medicare number).
- If you have a concession-card, you will need to register your details for your new house once you've arranged your connection. Click here to do this online.
Require an urgent connection?
- If you need to arrange for energy to be connected at your new house and need to be connected within 3 business days, call us on 1800 596 517.
- You’ll need to allow more time for new meter connections. Please call 133 466 so we can help you.
